Hey, I know, late notice, but the Parsons Illustration Senior Thesis Show is tomorrow (Wednesday). I had the pleasure of teaching about 1/3rd of the graduating seniors this year. If you want to see what this year's crop of fresh new talent is producing or, better still, if you're an employer looking to find some recent college grads to possibly employ, stop on by. iO Donna, a very famous Italian magazine, did a nice writeup on my Italian Mr. Wiggles book (at least I think it's nice! Since I can't read Italian, someone please tell me if it isn't!) In any case, it's big. I remember not sounding very intelligent when I did the interview which was also compounded by language barriers. Hopefully I don't come off too badly in it. Back in America

My time in Italy—home to amazing culinary inventions, culture, and the birth of the Renaissance—has come to an end and now I'm back in the good ol' US of A—home of The Whopper, reality television, and Larry the Cable Guy. It was an amazing trip. I'd like to thank everyone who came out to my book signing and who I met along the way. This is just a short note to say I'm back. When I have more time, I'll do a complete writeup of the trip and talk about the signing in more detail.

So, for anyone who has written me in the past two weeks or is currently writing me, please note that I have about half a kabillion emails to go through now that I'm back home, so it might take me a little time to respond. But give me some time and I will.

Rehabilitating Italy

The tickets are bought and the hotels have been booked. It's official. I am coming to Italy! I will be in Rome March 27th, 28th, and 29th; Siena March 30th and 31st; Florence April 1st, 2nd, and 3rd; Venice April 4th; and traveling back to the US on April 5th. At some point during my stay in Rome I'll be doing a book signing. I still don't have details on that yet, but stay tuned as I should have them shortly!

So for anyone who would like to meet up while I'm in Italy, let me know and maybe we can arrange something. Either at the Rome signing or one of the other locations I'll be in.
